How to raise thyroid?

My wife has hypothyroidism, and she's always feeling tired despite taking medicines. Is there anything else she can do to raise her thyroid function, maybe through diet or exercise?

Haan, if your thyroid levels are low, you definitely need to consult a specialist first, na. Don't try any self-medication or internet hacks here. Just get a proper blood test done and start the prescribed medicine regularly.

If you mean raising thyroid hormone levels because of hypothyroidism, it is actually very manageable! The main thing is taking your daily thyroid pill on an empty stomach right after waking up. It gets much better once you find the right dose with your doctor's help!

Hey, don't stress too much about thyroid issues, honestly. It is super common and once you start the tiny daily tablet your doctor prescribes, your energy levels will be back to normal in no time. Just take it easy!

In my experience, thyroid levels only normalized when I started taking the daily morning medicine regularly. I tried eating special seeds and avoiding certain veggies before, but nothing worked until I stuck to the doctor's prescription.

Look, if your thyroid hormone is low, you have to take the synthetic hormone pill. There is no shortcut or magic food that will suddenly raise it to normal. Go to a good endocrinologist, get your prescription, and follow it strictly.

Along with your regular medication, keeping your body active is very helpful for boosting metabolism. I make sure to go for a brisk 40-minute walk every day, as long as my energy levels permit. It really helps fight the fatigue associated with low thyroid.

I used to worry so much when my TSH was high and my thyroid function was low. I kept thinking it would never get normal and read too many scary articles online. But trust me, once you start the doctor's medicine, it gets stable. Just don't skip your doses.

My endocrinologist explained that hypothyroidism means the thyroid gland isn't producing enough hormones. The medical solution is taking levothyroxine tablets. He also advised me to avoid eating or drinking tea/coffee for at least an hour after taking the pill for best absorption.

Managing hypothyroidism requires long-term planning. I suggest looking for package deals on lab tests online because you will need to test your TSH levels every 3 to 6 months to adjust the dosage. Booking in advance helps save a lot of money.

Since I manage both diabetes and thyroid, I have to be very careful with my diet. I avoid processed foods and focus on whole grains and balanced meals. If you have low thyroid, make sure to get your blood sugar checked too, as these two often go hand-in-hand.
