How to put computer to sleep with keyboard?

Sometimes my mouse stops working, and I need a quick way to put my laptop to sleep without using the mouse or power button. Is there a keyboard shortcut for that?

On Windows, press Windows Key + X, then press U, and finally press S. It is super fast! Once that is done, take a quick break to stretch your legs and do a 5-minute walk to keep your blood circulation active.

Pressing Alt + F4 while on the desktop and choosing sleep is a safe shortcut. Just be cautious not to press any keys while carrying your laptop, as accidentally waking it inside a bag can cause severe overheating.

In our younger days we had to remember so many commands, but these shortcuts make life so simple now. Pressing Alt + F4 on your desktop and selecting Sleep from the dropdown works perfectly every time. Don't worry about making mistakes, you'll learn quickly.

I just learned this trick yesterday to speed up my exit from work! Just press Windows Key + X, then U, then S. Your screen will turn off instantly and put the system into sleep mode.

If only there was a shortcut to put my brain to sleep like this! Just mash Windows key + X, then U, then S, and boom, your PC is sleeping. Wish my insomnia had a keyboard shortcut too.

Listen, just press the physical power button on your keyboard if it has one configured for sleep. If not, use Windows Key + X, then U, then S. It takes exactly two seconds, no need to overcomplicate it.

Honestly, the easiest shortcut is just pressing Alt + F4 together when you are on your desktop, and then pressing Enter once 'Sleep' is selected. It saves so much time instead of using the mouse.
