How to properly sleep on your back?

My neck and lower back really hurt every morning when I wake up. My physio told me I should try sleeping on my back more. Can someone tell me how to do it properly so I don't get more pain?

For back sleeping, a supportive pillow for your head and neck is key. Some people even put a small pillow under their knees to maintain the natural curve of the spine. But if you have any back pain issues, it's always best to consult a doctor or a physiotherapist first for personalized advice.

Oh, back sleeping is the best for your face, no wrinkles! 😉 Make sure your pillow isn't too thick so your neck isn't pushed forward. A memory foam one works wonders for me! ✨

Beta, for sleeping on your back comfortably, try a medium-firm mattress. My grandmother always said to keep your spine straight, like a plank, while sleeping. You can also try a small, rolled-up towel under your neck if your pillow feels too soft.

Actually, I switched to back sleeping after seeing some videos. The main thing is to keep a pillow that supports your neck properly, not just your head. Some people even use a rolled towel under their lower back. It takes some getting used to, but it's worth it for the spine alignment.
