How to prevent pc from going to sleep?

This is a bit random, but my work laptop keeps going into sleep mode even when I'm just taking short breaks, which interrupts my workflow. Is there a simple setting or trick to prevent my PC from going to sleep automatically?

If you're asking about a personal computer, you need to go to power settings. On Windows, search for 'Power & sleep settings' in the Start menu. You can then adjust when the screen turns off and when the PC goes to sleep. Set both to 'Never' if you don't want it to sleep.

Haha, I thought this was a health question for a second! But if it's about your computer, definitely check the power settings. Sometimes it's set to save energy. For health, though, if 'PC' meant 'person', and they're *always* falling asleep, that's a doctor visit!

For a computer, it's simple. Just go to your control panel, then power options. There you can change the settings for when it sleeps or turns off the display. Set it to 'Never' if you need it on all the time. No need for fancy solutions.

If you're referring to a personal computer, you can modify the sleep settings in your operating system's power management options. For Windows, search 'Power & Sleep settings'. If by 'pc' you meant a person, then persistent drowsiness warrants a medical consultation, as it could indicate various health issues. Doctor's advice is paramount then.

Assuming this is about a computer, you change power settings. If you meant a *person* and they're constantly sleepy, then diet, exercise, and hydration play a huge role. But first, rule out any underlying medical conditions with a doctor. My advice is for people, not machines usually!

My PC going to sleep is the least of my problems, I wish *I* could go to sleep whenever I wanted! For the computer, just change the power settings, set it to 'never'. It's the only thing that actually listens to me, unlike my kids or my body after 50. 😂

Assuming 'pc' refers to a computer, you'll find the relevant options in 'Power & sleep settings' (Windows) or 'Energy Saver' (Mac). Adjust the sleep timers for both display and system. If it's a person experiencing excessive sleepiness, that's a medical symptom and needs evaluation for underlying causes like sleep apnea, thyroid issues, or anemia.

For a computer, just adjust the power settings. But if this is a trick question and 'PC' means *person's* health, then persistent drowsiness is not normal. Go to a good hospital and ask your doctor clearly about fatigue, sleep disorders, or anything unusual. Don't assume anything.

Is this about a computer or something else? If it's a computer, I think you can change some settings. How do I find those settings on a laptop, like where do I go?

For your computer, navigate to 'Control Panel' > 'Hardware and Sound' > 'Power Options'. Then click 'Change Plan Settings' for your active plan, and adjust 'Put the computer to sleep' to 'Never'. This should keep it awake. Easy peasy!

If it's about a computer, it's a simple setting change, no cost involved. Just check the power options. If it's about a person, please don't ignore constant sleepiness. A general checkup can identify issues, and though tests cost money, it's important to invest in health.

Assuming 'pc' is a computer, change its power settings. If 'pc' is a person, then diet can play a huge role in energy levels. A balanced vegetarian diet, avoiding heavy, sugary foods that cause energy crashes, can help maintain alertness. But for serious fatigue, always consult a doctor.

Is your PC secretly dreaming of a vacation? 😄 Just kidding! It's usually in the power settings, under 'sleep' or 'power management'. Set those timers to 'never' and your PC will stay wide awake, ready for action! If a person is going to sleep too often, that's a different story and needs a doc!

For a computer, it's in the power options; super easy to change. If you're talking about a person being constantly sleepy, that's more complex. I've tried so many home remedies for fatigue myself. Good diet, proper sleep, light exercise. But sometimes, a doc visit is necessary to find the root cause.

Haha, I wish I knew how to prevent *myself* from going to sleep sometimes! For the PC though, literally just go to your power settings and change the sleep timer to 'Never'. It's that simple. For me, though, nothing works, lol.
