For me, diet plays a huge role. I track my sugar intake very carefully because sudden spikes or drops can sometimes trigger headaches. Hydration is also key, especially in our Indian weather. Avoid processed foods, they are often the hidden culprits.
Honestly, a lot of things can help naturally. I try to identify my triggers first – is it certain foods, stress, or lack of sleep? Drinking ginger tea can sometimes ease the initial throbbing. But if it's severe or constant, please don't self-medicate, a doctor's visit is a must.
Pranayama and gentle yoga postures have been very beneficial for me. Focusing on breathwork, especially Anulom Vilom, can calm the nervous system and reduce the frequency. Try to do it in a quiet, dark room, it brings a lot of peace.
Beta, sometimes it's just stress or not eating on time. My grandmother always said to put a bit of peppermint oil on the temples, or grind some tulsi leaves and apply the paste. Haan na, migraines are just the worst! Mere saath bhi hota hai. I try to drink lots of water, and sometimes just a hot shower helps relax everything. Also, try to avoid very bright lights or loud noises, they can trigger it easily.
