How to not get cancer?

A close relative was recently diagnosed with cancer, and it's been a very difficult time for our family. I want to know if there's anything I can do in my daily life to reduce my risk. How can one actively try to not get cancer?

Look, there is no magic pill to completely avoid it, but we can definitely stop ruining our own health. First thing is to throw away the cigarettes and gutkha, and stop drinking regularly. Eat normal home food, sleep on time, and get yourself checked if you notice any weird lumps or sudden weight loss.

Honestly, reading too much about this online will just give you major anxiety! Don't stress too much about every single thing you eat or do. Just focus on living a happy, active lifestyle, eat your veggies, and let's leave the heavy worrying to the doctors, okay? Stay happy!

I lost an aunt to breast cancer, and it really taught us the value of regular screening and self-exams. It is so important to be aware of your body and get routine checkups like mammograms or PAP smears when recommended. Prevention and early detection are our best tools, so let's not hesitate to visit the doctor.

Let's be real—pollution and bad lifestyle habits in major cities are major risk factors. Apart from eating clean, we must get comprehensive health insurance and do annual preventive health checkups. Don't rely on WhatsApp forwards about cancer cures; trust proper oncologists and medical science.

We don't need expensive organic foods to stay healthy. Just washing our daily vegetables thoroughly to remove pesticides, reducing deep-fried food, and doing simple daily walks is enough for a good start. Keeping life simple and avoiding tobacco is the most budget-friendly health plan.

Having PCOS makes me very cautious about hormonal health and chronic risks. I try to manage my lifestyle carefully with exercise and diet, but I never make assumptions about my health without consulting my gynecologist. Regular monitoring and listening to medical experts is always the safest path.

Keeping your body fat levels in check through consistent strength training and cardio is highly linked to lower disease risks. Pair that with a high-fiber diet and plenty of hydration. It's not about being obsessive, just build a healthy routine and get your medical checks done annually.

Loading your daily meals with antioxidants from seasonal fruits, garlic, and green tea is a great way to boost overall cellular health. However, remember that a good diet is just one part of the puzzle and not a guaranteed cure. Keep a balanced lifestyle and always follow professional medical advice.

I understand how overwhelming all this health information can be, but please don't let fear dictate your life. Focus on a balanced routine, wear sunscreen, avoid bad habits, and get screened if you have a family history. We are in this together, so just take it one step at a time and consult a doctor.

In my seventy years, I have seen that those who live simple lives, eat fresh local food, and keep themselves busy with honest work tend to stay healthiest. Do not worry about diseases that haven't happened yet. Take care of your body, pray, and visit your family doctor whenever you feel unwell.

It is completely natural to feel worried about these things. Just focus on taking care of yourself, eating well, and visiting your doctor for routine health checkups when needed.
