How to migraine relief?

My migraines have been getting worse lately, and the pain is just unbearable sometimes. I'm looking for some effective ways to get relief when they hit. Any tips?

I have suffered from migraines for twenty years and tried everything. A cold ice pack on the back of your neck in a dark, quiet room works wonders. Also, try sipping warm ginger tea as soon as you feel the aura starting; it really helps with the nausea.

Honestly, when my migraine hits, even the sound of a spoon dropping feels like a bomb going off! My only relief is turning into a caveman—no phone, no lights, and a big cold towel wrapped around my face. Try it, it actually works better than arguing with the world.

I have just started getting these intense, one-sided headaches recently and they make me feel very sick to my stomach. Is it normal for a migraine to last for more than a whole day, or should I be worried and see a doctor?

Bro, screen time during college exams always triggers my migraines. I just put my phone on grayscale mode, drink a huge bottle of water, and crash in a dark room. Sometimes a strong black coffee helps if you catch it early enough.

MRI scans and neurologist fees for migraine diagnosis can easily cost thousands of rupees. To save money, start maintaining a simple diary of your food and sleep triggers so you can show it to the doctor in your first visit. It saves you from paying for multiple repeat consultations.

For years I took random over-the-counter pills, but they only gave me rebound headaches. I finally went to a proper neurologist at Kokilaben Hospital, and they gave me specific triptans that work within an hour. Please get a proper prescription instead of self-medicating.

I totally get it, migraine pain is absolutely draining and it ruins your whole day. Sometimes just lying down with an eye mask and putting some peppermint oil on your temples can take the edge off. Please take rest and don't force yourself to work through the pain.
