How to manage tooth pain?

Last night, I suddenly got this terrible toothache, and it's making it hard to eat or even talk. I can't go to the dentist immediately. What are some quick ways to manage tooth pain until I can see a dentist?

Honestly, don't waste time on random DIY hacks. Take a painkiller if it's unbearable and get an appointment with a dentist today itself. Tooth pain is usually a sign of an infection or cavity that needs a proper filling or root canal.

Bro, just went through this last week and it was hell. Try doing warm water salt rinses 3-4 times a day, it really pulls the swelling down. Also don't sleep flat, use an extra pillow to keep your head raised, otherwise the throbbing gets way worse at night.

Totally agree with using warm saltwater gargles. It acts as a natural disinfectant and immediately calms the gum irritation till you can get to a clinic.

Please go to a proper dentist immediately. I tried to suppress my toothache with painkillers and home remedies last year, and it ended up spreading as a severe gum infection that required major treatment. Don't delay it like I did.

I'm always a bit cautious with remedies because my body reacts weirdly to inflammation. I sometimes place a tiny piece of wet cotton with a single drop of clove oil on the aching spot. It gives temporary relief, but please check with your doctor if it persists.

Haan na, dental pain is the worst, pure head starts aching because of it. Merko toh clove chew karne se thoda aaram milta hai. But please see a dentist soon, home remedies are only for timepass relief.

Please take care. You can place a cold pack on your cheek for 15 minutes to numb the area slightly. Try to eat only soft, warm foods today so you do not irritate the tooth further.
