How to manage pcos?

My gynaecologist told me I have PCOS, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm trying to understand how to manage it in my daily life, especially with diet and lifestyle changes. Any tips?

In our days, we used to focus on home-cooked simple meals and physical work. You can try having lukewarm water with a pinch of fenugreek seed powder in the morning, but do visit a good lady doctor for proper guidance.

I was researching PCOS because my sister is dealing with it. It seems lifestyle changes like a low-sugar diet play a huge role, but is it true that dairy products should be avoided completely?

My classmate has PCOS and she says managing hostel food and regular exercise is the hardest part. She usually tries to carry home-made nuts and avoids oily canteen snacks as much as possible.

Does anyone else get terrible mood swings and bloating right before their periods due to PCOS? It makes me feel so low and exhausted, I really hope this gets better with diet changes.

Please don't ignore irregular periods thinking it's just normal PCOS. I delayed my treatment and ended up with severe cystic acne and insulin issues. Go to a gynecologist and get a proper pelvic ultrasound done.

You don't need expensive gym memberships or exotic diet plans. Just cut out refined sugar from your daily tea, eat home-made roti and green vegetables, and walk briskly for 30 minutes every evening.

PCOS is basically a hormonal imbalance that responds beautifully to consistency. Limit processed foods, focus on healthy fats like almonds, and try to sleep at a fixed time every night.
