How to manage pain?

Been struggling with chronic back pain for months after my last pregnancy. Sometimes it gets so bad I can't even pick up my baby properly. What are some effective ways to manage this constant pain?

For general muscle or back pain, using a warm heating bag or a cold ice pack for 15 minutes is a very simple and budget-friendly way to find relief. Avoid lifting heavy objects until you feel better.

Chronic body pain can sometimes be linked to hormonal imbalances like thyroid issues or vitamin deficiencies. It is always wise to get your basic blood levels checked and discuss them with your family physician.

Please do not ignore any persistent or severe pain by just popping painkillers regularly. I did that for joint pain and ended up with stomach acidity issues, so please get a proper diagnosis from a doctor.

To prevent daily body aches, focusing on core strength and regular post-workout stretching is very important. Keep your body hydrated and make sure you are getting enough sleep for natural muscle recovery.

After crossing 50, waking up without some joint creaking or back stiffness feels like a luxury! I just apply some Ayurvedic balm, do a light stretch, and carry on with my day.
