How to manage asthma without an inhaler?

I've had asthma since childhood, and sometimes my inhaler is not enough, or I forget it. Are there any natural ways or breathing exercises that can help manage an asthma attack or even prevent them without always relying on the inhaler?

Just like I can't manage my thyroid without regular medication, managing asthma safely without an inhaler is extremely risky. You must consult your doctor regularly to keep your lungs safe.

I understand the desire to be free of dependency on an inhaler, as it used to make me very anxious too. But please remember it is there to save your life during an emergency, don't discard it.

I must warn you that trying to manage asthma without your prescribed inhaler can be life-threatening during a severe attack. Please do not stop using your medication without consulting a specialist.

Please don't try this. Asthma is a serious condition and you must always keep your prescribed inhaler ready for your safety.

While deep breathing exercises and avoiding dust can support your lung health, they cannot replace an inhaler during a sudden bronchospasm. Please keep your rescue inhaler with you at all times.
