How to manage arthritis pain?

My father has arthritis and the pain sometimes gets really bad, especially in the rainy season. He takes medicine, but I was wondering if there are other ways to manage the pain daily. Any tips to make him more comfortable?

Haan yaar, pain jab badhta hai toh daily routine chalana mushkil ho jata hai. Garm paani ki thaili se sek karna aur thoda sa haldi wala doodh peena kafi relief deta hai na.

I was just reading up on this because my grandmother suffers from severe pain. I found that light stretching and staying active actually prevents the joints from locking up, which reduces the overall pain.

The constant ache is so exhausting and it really drains you mentally. It's okay to take a break and rest on bad pain days. Please don't push yourself too hard, your pain is real and valid.

Along with managing my thyroid, I also have to keep an eye on uric acid levels which can cause joint pain. Make sure to get regular blood tests and follow up with your doctor for proper diagnosis.

Completely agree with using heat therapy. Applying a warm compress for 15 minutes in the morning really helps with the initial stiffness.

Gentle, mindful movements combined with deep pranayama can help build a high pain tolerance and relax the nervous system. Try to practice breathing exercises daily in a quiet room.

While lifestyle changes help, chronic pain should not be self-managed. Please consult a specialist to ensure you are on the right anti-inflammatory treatment and to prevent joint damage.
