How to make yourself sleep fast?

My work schedule is very demanding, and I need to maximize my sleep in a short window. Are there any specific techniques or tricks to make myself sleep fast and efficiently?

If you find the secret, please tell me too! I am currently staring at my ceiling counting sheep and thinking about that embarrassing thing I did in school ten years ago. Looking at my screen is definitely not helping me though.

I just put on some rain sounds on YouTube and do the 4-7-8 breathing thing. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, and exhale slowly for 8. It usually knocks me out in ten minutes flat.

Before you spend thousands on sleep clinics, fancy mattresses, or expensive supplements, try the free methods first. Keep a strict schedule and dim your room lights an hour before bed. It costs zero rupees and actually works if you are consistent.

Before sleeping, just spend five minutes in silence thanking the universe for the day. Release all the stress and tension from your mind. A calm mind naturally invites peaceful and quick sleep.

I used to have terrible sleep onset issues last year. What worked for me was turning off the AC bedroom display lights and keeping the room slightly cool. Also, never stay in bed if you can't sleep; get up, do something boring, and return only when sleepy.

Haan yaar, ye sleep cycle block ho jani bahut badi tension hai. Room bilkul dark kar lo aur phone door rakh do, tabhi baat banegi na. Thoda dimag shaant rakhoge toh aone aap neend aa jayegi.
