How to make your computer not sleep?

My desktop computer keeps going into sleep mode even when I'm just away from it for a few minutes. It's a bit frustrating when I come back and have to wake it up. How can I adjust settings so it doesn't sleep so quickly?

In our days we didn't have these settings, but now I know you just need to go to your system's power options. Set the sleep timer to 'Never' in the control panel. It is a very simple fix, so don't worry about it at all.

I am not very good with computers, but I think you can change the screen timeout in settings. Does keeping the screen on all the time use up a lot of laptop battery life? Please let me know if anyone knows.

I face this daily during long file downloads. Just open your Windows settings, go to System, then Power & Sleep, and change both 'Screen' and 'Sleep' options to 'Never'. If you are on a Mac, you can use a free app called Amphetamine to keep it awake.

I completely understand how annoying it is when your screen turns off mid-work and breaks your concentration. You can easily fix this by searching for 'Power and Sleep settings' on your PC and setting the sleep timer to 'Never'. Take a deep breath, it is a quick setting change.

Keep it practical: go to your control panel, select Power Options, and click 'Change when the computer sleeps'. Set it to a longer duration or 'Never' so you can work without interruptions. Make sure to turn it off manually when you are done to save energy.

I once kept my laptop screen always on and ignored the battery swelling up until it completely died. Make sure you adjust the sleep settings to 'Never' only when plugged in, and keep an eye on your device's heating issues.

If you are on a tight schedule, just search 'Power & Sleep settings' in your search bar and change the sleep time to 2 hours or 'Never'. It takes exactly ten seconds and prevents your team status from showing as away while you are working.

In our house, we just go to the Windows search bar, type 'Power Settings', and change the sleep options to 'Never'. It is better than downloading any strange apps. Just remember to shut it down at night to give the machine some rest.

Don't install random third-party 'mouse jiggler' software from the internet to solve this, as they can have malware. It is much safer to just use your computer's built-in Windows power settings to adjust the sleep timeout.

Just like we train our minds to stay present, we can set our systems to stay active. Go to your power settings and change the sleep timer to 'Never' so your work flow is not disturbed. Remember to take a deep breathing break every hour!

I have helped several people with this little technical issue. Simply go to your system settings, search for power plan, and set the sleep mode to 'Never' for both battery and plugged-in states. It is a very safe and standard setting.
