How to make sure computer doesn't sleep?

I often leave my computer on overnight for updates or downloads, but sometimes it goes into sleep mode and interrupts things. How can I make sure my computer doesn't sleep automatically, at least not during certain hours?

You can change the power and sleep settings to 'Never' in your control panel. But please don't sit in front of the screen for too long, the blue light really messes with your sleep and can cause severe headaches. Take care!

Use the built-in PowerToys awake tool if you are on Windows, it keeps your screen active easily. I track my screen time alongside my activity tracker to make sure I am not sitting stationary for more than 45 minutes.

Just go to your PC's power settings and set sleep mode to 'Never' while plugged in. If you are working night shifts and keeping the PC awake, make sure to drink enough water and keep some eye drops handy for dry eyes.

My doctor warned me that keeping screens constantly active near the bed disrupts melatonin production. For the computer, you can use apps like 'Caffeine' or 'Amphetamine' to keep it awake, but keep it in another room at night.

While you are setting your PC to never sleep, make sure you don't sleep over your keyboard after a heavy biryani lunch! Just search 'Power Sleep Settings' in your search bar and change it to 'Never' in two clicks.

Adjusting the display sleep timer to 'Never' is easy. But let me warn you, I ignored severe eye strain and neck pain while working long hours on an active PC, which led to a major cervical issue. Please take breaks.
