How to make my pc not go to sleep?

My PC goes into sleep mode when I'm working on something for a long time, like writing or researching, and then I lose my focus. It’s disruptive. How can I make my PC not go to sleep?

Just like keeping your body active with daily workouts, keep your PC awake by going to Power & Sleep settings. Change the screen time-out to 'Never' while you do your training sessions.

For basic PC issues, just change the sleep settings in control panel. But if your computer is overheating or shutting down suddenly, it might need a proper hardware service.

In our times, we shut things down to preserve them, but if your work needs the PC on, go to settings and turn off sleep mode. Make sure to keep the room cool so the machine doesn't get damaged.

Be careful with leaving your system running all night. If the battery is old, it can swell up and become a fire hazard, so get it checked by a technician if it gets too hot.

Go to settings, search for 'Power and Sleep', and set both battery and plugged-in options to 'Never'. It is that simple, no need to download any extra third-party software.

Running a PC 24/7 will definitely increase your electricity bill by a few hundred rupees. It is cheaper to just adjust the sleep timer to 1 hour instead of setting it to 'Never' permanently.

Just like keeping yourself awake with a strong cup of filter coffee, you can keep your PC awake. Go to power options and change the idle timeout to never.

Don't install random free software from the internet to keep your PC awake, as they might have malware. Stick to the built-in Windows power settings, it is much safer.

Don't panic, it is just a default energy saving setting. Open your system settings, search for 'Sleep' and adjust the timer to whatever duration you need.

I faced this while running large database queries. I just set my screen sleep to 'Never' under the Windows settings and it solved my problem completely.

I got so worried that my system was broken when it kept sleeping mid-download. It is just a basic setting in the Control Panel, so don't worry, your hardware is fine.

I wish I could sleep as easily as my PC does every time I look away for two minutes. Just change the display timer in Windows settings to stop it from dozing off.

For my long work hours, my IT support head told me to use the Windows 'PowerToys' utility. It has a built-in feature called 'Awake' that keeps your screen active temporarily.
