How to make it so mac doesn't sleep?

I often leave my Mac running for downloads or background processes, but it keeps going to sleep. I've checked the energy saver settings but maybe I'm missing something. How to make it so my Mac doesn't sleep?

On your Mac, you can go to System Settings, then Lock Screen, and set the display sleep timer to 'Never'. Just make sure you lock it manually when you are away for security.

Just go to Battery settings if you are on a Macbook and change the 'Turn display off' slider. Super easy, takes like two seconds.

You can also use the Terminal app built into your Mac. Just type 'caffeinate' and hit enter, and it will keep your system awake until you close the window.

Download a super simple free app called 'Amphetamine' from the Mac App Store! It has a cute coffee icon and keeps your screen on with just one click. ☕
