How to make good sleep?

For months now, I've been struggling to get a good night's sleep. I wake up tired even after 7-8 hours. What can I do to improve my sleep quality and finally get some good sleep?

I was struggling with severe insomnia last year and went to a specialist at a reputed hospital. He clearly told me that self-medicating with sleeping pills is highly addictive. He advised checking for vitamin deficiencies and fixing my sleep hygiene first.

A warm bath and some soothing music always do the trick for me! Also, try to keep your phone away at least 30 minutes before hitting the bed. Sleep tight!

I totally get it, lying awake staring at the ceiling when the whole world is asleep is so frustrating and exhausting. Try drinking a warm cup of chamomile tea or milk, and don't force yourself to sleep if your mind is racing.

I ignored my poor sleep for months, thinking it was just work stress, until I fainted one day and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. Please get yourself evaluated by a doctor if you are constantly waking up tired or snoring heavily.

Cut off caffeine completely after 3 PM and stop scrolling reels in bed. Put your bedroom temperature to a cool setting and maintain a fixed wake-up time every day. Consistent discipline is the only real way to fix your circadian rhythm.

My teenage son had a terrible sleep cycle due to exam stress. We made a rule to dim all the house lights after 9 PM and kept his room cool and dark. It took a week, but his body naturally adjusted to a healthy sleep routine.
