How to make a kidney stone pass faster?

I've been diagnosed with a kidney stone, and the pain is quite intense sometimes. The doctor said it needs to pass on its own. Are there any natural remedies or tips to make a kidney stone pass faster and reduce the discomfort?

Honestly, don't try to rush it yourself without a proper plan. Just like how I have to get regular thyroid tests to keep things under control, you need a proper doctor's visit and scans to check the actual size of the stone first. If it's too big, no amount of water will make it pass on its own, so please get it checked properly.

See, there is no magic trick to melt it in a day. Just drink plenty of water and coconut water throughout the day, and please avoid too much spinach and tomatoes for now. If the pain becomes totally unbearable, directly go to the hospital instead of trying ghar ke nuskhe.

I was crying and panicking so badly last year when I had a 4mm stone, thinking I would need major surgery. But honestly, my doctor told me to stay calm, drink warm water, and gave me some basic medicine, and it passed out smoothly in a few days. Just relax and let your body do its job under medical guidance.

With my busy corporate desk job, I couldn't afford to take weeks off for pain. My urologist gave me specific meds to relax the ureter which helped me pass the stone while working. Don't waste time trying randomly, just get the right prescription from a doc so you can recover quickly.

I was reading up on this recently out of curiosity because my flatmate had it. Apparently, drinking lemon water really helps because of the citrate, but you definitely need a doctor to confirm the stone's size first. Has your doctor done an ultrasound yet?
