How to make a kid sleep instantly?

My 4-year-old son is incredibly energetic and often fights bedtime, making it a struggle every night. I'm exhausted! What are some tricks or techniques to make a kid sleep instantly, or at least very quickly?

In my experience, shutting off all mobile screens and TV at least an hour before bed is the only thing that works. Once the room is dark and quiet, they drift off naturally.

Make sure they don't consume any sugary snacks, biscuits, or chocolates in the evening. Sugar spikes can make children hyperactive and keep them awake for hours.

If your child is consistently struggling to sleep and seems very restless or in pain, please consult a pediatrician. It is better to check if there is any underlying issue.

Honestly, 'instantly' is a myth, but reading a boring storybook in a very low, slow voice always does the trick for my nephew. Try to keep the room cool too.

Sote samay bache ke pairo me thoda sa sarso ka tel ghis dijiye.

A soft massage on their forehead or feet works like a charm! Combine it with a gentle lullaby and watch them snooze in minutes. 💤

If you are thinking of using any OTC calming drops, please stop. Never give any medication or heavy herbal mixtures to make a child sleep without a doctor's prescription.
