How to make a fever break?
My child has had a high fever for the past day and a half, and we've been giving paracetamol, but it's still persisting. Are there any other safe methods or tips to make a fever break quicker for a young child?

Hey, don't stress too much. Just take a damp cloth and put it on your forehead to bring the temperature down, and drink plenty of water.
Please keep a thermometer handy and check the temperature every hour. If it goes above 102, don't wait at home, we should consult a doctor immediately.
Keep your meals very light, like warm khichdi or moong dal soup. Avoid oily foods entirely so your body can focus on fighting the fever.
Just take a paracetamol and rest it out. Keep sponge bathing with normal tap water, don't use ice cold water as it can shock your system.
When my body gets a fever, it's just my system telling me to shut down and sleep. Put on a light blanket, take your regular medicine, and doze off.
