How to make a fever blister go away?

I get these fever blisters on my lip sometimes, and they're really annoying and painful. Does anyone know any home remedies or over-the-counter things that can make a fever blister go away quickly?

Diabetic patients need to be very careful with skin infections as they heal slowly. Avoid touching or popping the blister, and consult your doctor for a proper antiviral cream.

Make sure you don't share towels or cups, as these are highly contagious. I always worry about spreading it to other parts of my face, so please wash your hands constantly.

Fever blisters are like uninvited relatives, they show up at the worst times! Just don't pick at them unless you want a nice permanent spot there.

I usually dab a little honey on it, it has natural healing properties. But if it doesn't dry up in 4-5 days, please use a prescription ointment.

Bro, just put a pimple patch or some basic gel on it and dont touch it. Picking it makes it look way worse before college exams.

If the blister spreads near your eyes or you get a high fever, please see a doctor immediately. It can turn into a severe infection if left untreated.
