How to lower acidity in soil?
I have a small kitchen garden at home and my plants aren't doing too well. Someone told me the soil might be too acidic. What can I do to fix this?

Soil acidity is a common gardening challenge. Good question.
While not a health app, there are soil pH testing kits and digital meters that work similarly to trackers, giving you precise data. Once you know the pH, adding agricultural lime is the standard method to raise it. You can even find charts online that help you calculate how much to add based on your soil type.
I've tried so many things for my garden soil! Initially, I thought compost would do it, but it wasn't enough for very acidic soil. Finally, I bought some dolomitic lime from the nursery. It worked, but you have to be patient, it takes time to show effect. Also, always test your soil first, otherwise you might overdo it.
This is outside my usual health topics, but I've learned that with any system, balance is key. For soil, I'd imagine getting it tested is the first step, just like how for PCOS we need proper diagnosis. Then, maybe add things slowly, like lime, and re-test to avoid over-correcting.
For acidic soil, the most effective thing is to add agricultural lime. Get a soil test done first to know how acidic it truly is and how much lime you need. Spread it evenly and mix it into the top few inches of soil. It usually takes a few months to fully integrate, so be patient and re-test.
Soil ka acidity kam karna hai toh chuna dalo. Lime powder. Magar pehle janch karva lo kitna dalna hai. Nahi toh paudhe jal jayenge. Simple hai, but dhyan se karo.
I can only share what I did for my small kitchen garden. My plants weren't doing well, so after reading up, I added some garden lime that I got from the local store. It slowly helped and my plants started looking much healthier. Just make sure to follow the instructions on the packet carefully.
