How to lose flabby skin after weight loss?

After my weight loss journey, I'm left with quite a bit of flabby skin, especially around my stomach and thighs. It's making me feel quite self-conscious. What are the best ways to tighten and lose flabby skin after weight loss?

It's completely normal to feel disappointed or anxious about flabby skin after putting in so much hard work to lose weight. I felt the same way. Please be kind to yourself and don't let it overshadow your amazing achievement. Your next step should be consulting a specialist.

I can share my experience. After losing a lot of weight, the flabby skin was a real challenge. I tried everything – lotions, dry brushing, but it was minimal improvement. For significant flab, my dermatologist told me surgery was the only option. It's a big decision, so research thoroughly and find a good doctor.

Congrats on the weight loss! That's a huge win. For flabby skin, focus on building lean muscle underneath. Strength training consistently helps to fill out some of that laxity. Also, ensuring you're getting enough protein and staying hydrated supports skin elasticity.

Yaar, this flabby skin thing is a proper headache after weight loss, na? Actually, for some, time helps a bit, but for others, it's pretty stubborn. Best is to see a good skin doctor or plastic surgeon. They will give you the real picture.

Beta, first of all, very good work on losing the weight! For the skin, it is natural for it to be a little loose. Do not rush into anything. Family might give many ideas, but for such a specific issue, please see a qualified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. They will advise you properly.

This is something I've been wondering about too. Does the age when you lose weight make a difference to how much the skin tightens back? Or is it mostly about genetics?
