How to lose excess skin after weight loss?

After losing nearly 30 kgs, I'm really happy with my body transformation, but I have a lot of loose, excess skin. It's quite disheartening. What are the best ways to get rid of this excess skin after weight loss?

Oh, I was there just last year! After losing a lot of weight, the loose skin was so disheartening. I tried creams but they didn't do much. Eventually, I had to opt for a tummy tuck, but that was after consulting multiple surgeons and really thinking it through. For smaller areas, sometimes strength training helps.

Congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome. For loose skin, building muscle underneath can really help fill it out and make it look tighter. Focus on full-body strength training 3-4 times a week, and keep your protein intake high. Staying hydrated also helps skin elasticity.

I totally understand if this makes you feel a bit anxious or disappointed after working so hard. It's okay to feel that way. Many people face this after significant weight loss. Please don't let it diminish your achievement. Your next step should definitely involve speaking to a medical professional.

Haan ji, this loose skin problem is very common after weight loss na? My friend tried some firming lotions and also a lot of resistance training. It helps a little, but for significant loose skin, doc log bolte hain surgery is the only option sometimes. Dekh lo.

Hey, first of all, great job on your weight loss journey! That's a huge achievement. Loose skin can be a natural outcome. Give your body some time to adapt. For options, you should definitely consult a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. They can assess if exercises or medical procedures are suitable.

My doctor explained that skin elasticity plays a big role, and sometimes, especially with large weight loss or age, the skin just can't bounce back fully. He mentioned that hydration, good nutrition (especially protein and Vitamin C), and strength training can help minimize it, but often for significant loose skin, surgical options like a body lift are considered.

This is a tough one. From my personal experience, after losing about 30 kgs, I still had some loose skin, especially on my arms. I increased my protein intake and started strength training, which helped fill out some areas, but it wasn't a complete fix. Every body is different.
