How to lessen the pain of braces?

I just got my braces put on, and my teeth are aching so much, it's hard to eat anything. My friends said it'll get better, but right now it's really uncomfortable. What can I do to lessen this pain from my new braces?

Dude, I just got my braces off last year, and I remember the pain! For the initial few days after tightening, soft foods are your best friend – dahi, idli, mashed potatoes. And wax is a lifesaver for those sharp bits that cut your cheeks. Trust me, it gets better, but the first few days are rough.

Oh my god, I remember panicking so much when I first got my braces! The pain felt unbearable, and I thought I'd made a huge mistake. But honestly, after a few days, it becomes a dull ache, and then it goes away until the next adjustment. Don't worry, it's totally normal, and you'll get used to it!

Braces pain is tough, and it's even more important to manage discomfort if you have underlying conditions. I always advise going for soft, easy-to-chew foods after adjustments. And use the wax for any poking wires; it prevents painful sores. Just be gentle with your mouth, and don't try to chew anything hard. It will subside.

Braces pain is no joke, girl! I remember it so well. What really helped me was rinsing my mouth with warm salt water, it helps heal any cuts. And painkillers like paracetamol are okay if your dentist approves. Plus, lots of ice cream and soft foods! You'll get through it!

The path to a beautiful smile sometimes involves temporary discomfort, like with braces. Embrace this journey with patience and positivity. Take care of your mouth by eating soft foods and using wax when needed. This pain is for a good purpose, so stay strong and mindful.

Beti, daant mein jab aise taar lagte hain, toh dard toh hoga hi. Thodi himmat rakho. Ghar pe halka garam namak paani se kulli karo, woh dard mein aram deta hai aur infection bhi nahi hota. Aur jab khana khaao toh sirf naram cheezein khaao. Bahut tez ya thandi cheezein mat khana. Dheere dheere sab theek ho jayega.

During braces pain, your diet needs to be very soft. Think mashed potatoes, dahi rice, smoothies, dal, and soft-cooked vegetables. Avoid anything crunchy, sticky, or hard – that includes nuts, hard rotis, and even some fruits like apples. Focus on gentle, nourishing vegetarian foods that won't irritate your mouth.
