How to know if your fever broke?

I've been having a high fever for the last two days, and now I feel a little better, but not completely fine. How do you know for sure if your fever has actually broken and you're on the mend? Should I still be cautious?

With PCOS, my body can be a bit unpredictable, so I always rely on a thermometer. Generally, when a fever breaks, you'll often have a good sweat and then feel much cooler, sometimes even a bit chilly, and your body aches will reduce. But always confirm with a temperature reading. Don't assume just by how you feel, stay cautious.

You'll usually start sweating profusely, and then your body will feel much cooler to the touch. The aches and chills should subside, and you might feel a general sense of relief and energy returning. The best way to confirm is to check your temperature with a thermometer. Once it's consistently below 99°F (37.2°C), you know it's broken.

When the body begins its healing, the fever often releases with a cleansing sweat. You will feel a sense of lightness, your skin will cool, and the heavy feeling in the head will reduce. It is a sign of the body returning to its natural balance. Still, always use a thermometer to confirm your temperature has normalized, as it provides clear assurance.

Oh, when the fever breaks, it's like the sun finally coming out after a long monsoon! You'll suddenly feel a huge wave of sweat, your body will cool down, and that horrible ache will ease. Best sign is when you stop shivering and can actually think about getting out of bed. But always keep a thermometer handy, just to be sure. My body these days acts like it has a mind of its own, so I trust the thermometer more than my feelings!

The clearest sign is usually sweating a lot and then your body feeling cool, not hot anymore. The headache and body pains will also lessen. Always keep a digital thermometer at home, it's cheap and essential. Check your temperature a few times to be sure it's staying down. Then you know it's gone.

Dude, when your fever breaks, you literally feel like you just ran a marathon in a sauna, you sweat SO much. Then suddenly, you're not burning up anymore, you actually feel kinda cool, and that gross achy feeling mostly goes away. Best way to check for sure is just using a thermometer, tho. That's what my mom always makes me do.
