How to know if you went to sleep or not?

Sometimes I wake up and feel like I haven't slept at all, even after lying down for hours. How do you really know if your body actually went into proper sleep or if you were just resting with your eyes closed? Is there a feeling or something?

This sounds like a very unusual question, are you perhaps feeling really exhausted or having trouble distinguishing reality? I once ignored constant fatigue thinking it was nothing, and it turned out to be a vitamin deficiency. If you're genuinely confused about something basic like sleep, please get it checked by a doctor. Don't make my mistake of ignoring odd symptoms.

If you're unsure if you've slept or not, especially if this happens often, it's really best to consult a doctor. It might be nothing, but sometimes it could point to a sleep disorder or other health issues. Better to be safe and get it properly checked.

Sometimes when we are very tired, or just resting our eyes, it can feel like we haven't quite slept, even if we drifted off for a bit. But if you're actually confused about whether you had a full sleep cycle or just zoned out, and it's happening regularly, maybe talk to a sleep specialist. They can help figure out what's going on.

That's an interesting question. Sometimes a short power nap can feel like you didn't truly sleep. But if you're experiencing a persistent lack of clarity about your sleep, or feel constantly unrested despite trying to sleep, it's wise to get professional advice. A sleep study might be helpful if this is a recurring concern.

Bhai, if you're asking this, maybe you slept so well you forgot you did! Or maybe you're just thinking about it too much. Usually, if you wake up feeling refreshed (or just less dead), you probably slept. But on a serious note, if you're actually having memory issues about your sleep, maybe a quick chat with a doctor is in order, just to rule out anything serious. No point losing sleep over not knowing if you slept!

Haha, sometimes after a super long study session, I feel like I just blinked for 5 mins but my alarm says 3 hours later. If you're talking about feeling like you didn't sleep at all when you actually did, maybe you're just very exhausted? Or like, if you're having trouble remembering, that's different. If it's the latter, maybe see a doc.
