How to know if you have kidney stones?

Last week, I had a sudden, severe pain in my lower back that moved to my groin. It was really bad, like a sharp, cramping feeling. Someone mentioned it could be kidney stones. What are the typical symptoms of kidney stones?

The main symptom is usually severe pain in the back or side, often radiating to the lower abdomen. Nausea, vomiting, and painful urination can also occur. It's really best to consult a urologist or general physician for proper diagnosis, as symptoms can be similar to other conditions.

Bro, if you have it, you'll know. That pain is no joke, straight up feels like someone punched your back and it keeps moving. Had it last year, was screaming man. Just go to doc, they'll scan it.

Oh, that sounds really painful. Do the symptoms come on suddenly, like out of nowhere? I'm a bit worried about some discomfort I've been having.

Please, please, please don't ignore any signs. I had dull pain for weeks and thought it was just muscle strain. Then one day it hit me hard. Went to ER and it was a stone blocking things. Early checkup saves a lot of pain and complications.

Hi there! 👋 People often feel intense pain in their side or back that moves to the lower belly. Also, you might see blood in your pee or feel like you need to go to the washroom a lot! But for sure, a doctor visit is key to know for real! 🧑‍⚕️

My doctor explained that common signs include severe, cramping pain in the back and side, which can radiate to the groin. You might also have nausea, vomiting, fever, chills, and painful or bloody urine. A urine test, blood test, and an ultrasound or CT scan are usually done to confirm it.

Don't panic if you're feeling some discomfort. Kidney stones can cause very sharp pain, often in waves, along with a frequent urge to pee or burning sensation. The best thing is to see a doctor quickly so they can figure it out and start treatment. Take care of yourself.

It's tricky because some pain can be confusing. For kidney stones, people usually describe really sharp, colicky pain. But please don't self-diagnose. It's always safest to get it checked by a doctor, just to be sure what's going on.
