How to know if you have kidney problems?

I've been having some dull back pain and my urine looks a bit darker sometimes. My husband is worried it might be kidney problems, as his uncle had them. What are the common symptoms I should be looking for?

I had a friend who ignored constant fatigue and swelling, thinking it was just stress. It turned out to be serious kidney issues. If you have symptoms like persistent swelling in your ankles, frequent urination, especially at night, extreme tiredness, or loss of appetite, please see a doctor immediately. Don't take any chances with your kidneys, they are vital.

My doctor explained that common signs of kidney problems include swelling in the feet, ankles, or face (edema), changes in how often you urinate, persistent fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, and muscle cramps. They emphasized that a definitive diagnosis requires tests like a blood creatinine test, GFR estimation, and urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR). Don't rely on symptoms alone, get tested.

Kidney problems can be quite sneaky because symptoms often don't show up until later stages. However, if you notice things like swelling in your face or legs, changes in your urination habits (more frequent, less frequent, foamy), persistent fatigue, or muscle cramps, these are signs to get checked. It's really important to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis with blood and urine tests.

For kidney problems, you need to be very careful. My aunt had swelling in her feet and she would get tired very easily. Family says it is a sign. But truly, only a doctor can tell. If you have swelling, or if your urine changes, or if you feel very weak, please consult a good doctor. They will do the proper tests and help you.

Kidney problem ho na, toh sharir mein alag changes dikhte hain. Jaise pairon aur chehre par sujan, ya baar baar peshab aana, ya bahut zyada thakaan. Agar aise kuch symptoms lagein, toh doctor ko dikhana zaroori hai na. Woh blood aur urine tests karenge aur sahi bataenge.
