How to know if u have malaria?

Since yesterday, I've been feeling quite unwell with high fever and body ache. Someone in my family mentioned it could be malaria, as it's common in our area these days. I'm worried, so how can I really know if it's malaria or just a normal fever?

My son had malaria last monsoon. He first got very high fever with severe chills that would come and go, body ache, and felt really tired. We immediately took him to the doctor, who did a blood test. Don't delay, especially with kids. Get that blood test done, it's called an MP test.

Malaria is clear cut. High fever with shivering, headache, and muscle pain. It typically comes in cycles. If you have these symptoms, especially if you're in an area with mosquitoes, go to the doctor and ask for a malaria test. It's a blood test, quick and essential.

When the body is out of balance, these things happen. Malaria gives you fever with chills, body aches, and a general feeling of weakness. It's important to rest, hydrate well, and take medical advice. For prevention, I also focus on strengthening my immunity through mindful living.

When I had malaria, everything tasted bland, yaar. But before that, I had crazy chills and my head felt like it was splitting. My appetite went totally down. So, if you're a foodie like me and suddenly don't feel like eating anything, along with fever and chills, definitely get checked!

Humare zamane mein toh machchar bahut hote the, aur malaria bhi. Jab bahut zyada thand lag ke bukhar aaye, aur pura badan tootne lage, toh samajh jao. Neem ke patte ka dhuan karte the machchar bhagane ke liye, lekin agar ho jaye toh doctor ko dikhana hi padta hai, beta. Aur pani khoob piyo.

My doctor explained that malaria symptoms often start 10 days to 4 weeks after infection. Key signs are cyclical fever with intense shivering and sweating, severe headache, muscle aches, and fatigue. Some people also get nausea and vomiting. A blood test is the only way to confirm, specifically a peripheral smear for malarial parasite.

I'm always worried about mosquitoes! Does anyone else feel super exhausted even after the fever breaks? And do the chills feel really deep, like from inside your bones? I'm trying to figure out if my recent flu-like symptoms could be malaria.

Oh, I didn't know the fever comes in cycles. So, if I just have a normal fever and body ache, it might not be malaria then? Do these chills feel different from regular cold chills?

Malaria test bahut costly nahi hota hai, it's just a simple blood test. But the medicines, if not taken on time, can be expensive and cause more problems. So, if you get high fever with shivering, don't wait. Get tested immediately, it saves money and health in the long run.

During malaria, digestion becomes weak, so light, nourishing food is very important. Think khichdi, vegetable soups. But before thinking about diet, you need to confirm it. High fever, shivers, headache are classic signs. Get tested and then consult for proper diet and medication.
