How to know if skin cancer has spread?

My chacha ji was recently diagnosed with skin cancer, and now he is very worried. His doctor said something about it spreading, and he's quite scared. What are the signs to look out for if it starts to spread?

Hi there, I understand this can be very worrying. Usually, doctors check lymph nodes around the area, and sometimes do imaging like CT or MRI scans to see if anything has spread internally. It's really important to talk to a good oncologist or dermatologist; they can guide you through the process and ease your mind.

Oh, this sounds serious. With any kind of cancer, especially skin, any changes in moles, new growths, or unusual textures can be concerning. It's always best to get it checked by a specialist who can do the right tests. Don't self-diagnose, please.

Listen, if you're even thinking about spread, you need to see a doctor immediately. I had a small issue once that I thought was nothing, and it turned into something bigger because I delayed. Don't make my mistake; get it checked by a dermatologist ASAP. They'll know what to look for.

For skin cancer, if it has spread, you might notice new lumps or bumps, swelling in lymph nodes, or changes in your general health like unexplained weight loss or fatigue. The most important step is to get a professional medical opinion; they will likely do a biopsy or other scans to confirm. Don't wait.

Haan, I went through this exact anxiety recently. My doc explained that if it spreads, it often goes to the nearest lymph nodes first, so they do a check there. Also, keep an eye out for any new spots appearing far from the original one. Pls, don't delay, go see a specialist right away for proper diagnosis and peace of mind.
