How to keep yourself from vomiting?

Sometimes after eating certain foods or if I feel nauseous, I really struggle to keep myself from vomiting. It's a very uncomfortable feeling. Are there any common techniques or things I can do to prevent it when I feel it coming on?

Hey, don't stress too much about it! Sometimes, a small piece of ginger or a sip of cold water can help calm your stomach. Just take it easy and rest up. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh no, that's the worst feeling! I always get so anxious when I feel nauseous. Does anyone else find that peppermint or lemon helps? I've tried it, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Don't ignore it if it keeps happening, especially if there are other symptoms. I once thought it was just food poisoning, but it turned out to be something more serious. Always better to get checked by a doctor if it's not a one-off thing.

Ugh, the worst! When I feel like that, I just lie down, no sudden movements. And sip on some nimbu paani, but very slowly. Works sometimes, especially after some dodgy hostel food, lol.

Try to stay calm, deep breaths really help. Sip on clear fluids like ORS or plain water, but in very small amounts. Avoid anything heavy or spicy. If it's persistent, don't hesitate to consult a doctor, okay?

My life is a constant battle against sleep and sometimes against my stomach too, haha. When that feeling hits, I just close my eyes and focus on breathing. Distraction sometimes works, and definitely no more late-night biryani for me!

It can be very uncomfortable. Try to find a cool, quiet place to rest. Sometimes just relaxing and not thinking about it can help ease the feeling.
