How to keep windows from going to sleep?

My Windows PC keeps going to sleep when I leave it idle for a bit, even if I'm running some background tasks. It's a bit of a hassle to wake it up every time. How can I change this setting?

For work, I set my power options to 'High Performance' and set 'Turn off display' to a longer duration or 'Never'. Also, check advanced settings for 'Sleep after' and set that to 'Never' too. Saves a lot of time.

You can change power settings in Control Panel. Look for 'Power Options' then 'Change plan settings' for your active plan. From there, adjust the display and sleep timings. Always ensure your system updates are done too.

Ho na, this is so annoying! Meri toh meeting ke beech mein hi sleep pe chala jaata tha. Control Panel mein jaake power settings change karni padti hai. Try kar ke dekho.

Heehee, my laptop does that too! Just go to Power & Sleep settings in your Windows settings. You can set 'Screen' and 'Sleep' to 'Never' when plugged in. Works like a charm! ✨

There are usually two main settings: one for when it's on battery and one for when it's plugged in. Go to Settings > System > Power & Sleep. You can set both 'Screen' and 'Sleep' options to 'Never' or a very long duration. Also, some applications can override these settings, so check if you have any power management software installed.

Arey bhaiya, yeh computer bhi insaan jaisa hi hai, kabhi kabhi so jaata hai. Settings mein jaake sleep mode band kar do. Control Panel mein Power Options hota hai, wahan se ho jaayega.

Simple hai bhai, power settings mein jao aur wahan pe 'Never sleep' ka option select kar lo. Agar laptop hai toh make sure you do it for both 'on battery' and 'plugged in'. Maine bhi aise hi kiya hai.

I always keep my Windows awake, especially when I'm watching my cooking videos! Just change the power settings to 'Never' for sleep. Also, for good health, remember to eat your greens and stay hydrated!

Oh, my computer also used to do that, so irritating! I just changed the power settings in the control panel to never sleep. For health, always check your BP regularly, it's very important to keep it under control.

My personal experience with this was just going into the settings and finding 'Power & Sleep'. I changed the 'Sleep' option to 'Never' when plugged in. Worked for me, but every computer can be a bit different.
