How to keep my pc from going to sleep?

I'm running some analyses on my PC that take a long time, and I don't want it to go to sleep in the middle. It's a pain to wake it up and restart things sometimes. What should I do?

For my PC, I just went into the 'Power & sleep settings' through the Windows search bar. You can set the 'Screen' and 'Sleep' options to 'Never' or a very long time. That works perfectly for me. For health questions, I always consult a doctor, but for PC, this is fine.

For your PC, just change the power settings. On Windows, search 'Power & sleep settings' and set the timings for screen and sleep. Modern tech makes it so easy to customize! Just like my smart watch helps track my sleep, this helps track my PC's sleep, haha.

My son also had this problem with his gaming PC. You just need to go into your Windows settings, search for 'Power & sleep settings', and then change the options for 'Screen' and 'Sleep' to 'Never' or a higher number of minutes. He was very happy after that!

Oh, this is such a common annoyance! I always worry I'm doing something wrong when my PC keeps going to sleep. Does anyone else sometimes feel like these tech issues are a test of patience? Glad it's just a setting.

This is a simple setting fix. But speaking of things going wrong, I once ignored a persistent health issue, thinking it was minor, and it led to major complications. So, while your PC can be easily fixed, please don't take risks with your health; always see a doctor for medical concerns.
