How to keep chromebook from going to sleep?

I use my Chromebook for online classes, and it keeps going to sleep mode every few minutes, which is very annoying. How can I stop my Chromebook from automatically going to sleep?

For a Chromebook, usually, you can change the sleep settings in the 'Settings' menu under 'Device' and then 'Power'. There should be an option to adjust when it goes to sleep when idle or when the lid is closed. My doc actually told me to adjust my work-from-home setup to avoid constant screen changes, and this was part of it.

Hey, I just fixed this on my sister's Chromebook last week! You need to go into settings, then 'Device', and there's a 'Power' section. Inside that, you can toggle the 'Sleep when lid is closed' option or change the idle sleep timer. It's super simple, don't worry.

Don't fret, beta, this is usually an easy fix. Just go to your Chromebook's settings, you'll find power management options there. There's a setting for 'Sleep' or 'Idle behavior'. Adjust that to 'Never' or a longer time. It's like teaching a kid a new routine, just need to set the rules once. Let me know if you can't find it.

Oh, this is such a common thing with laptops, not just Chromebooks. Look for 'power management' or 'sleep settings' in your system settings. No need for any fancy software download or anything that costs money. Just a small setting change, usually free! It's like planning your budget, small adjustments make a big difference.

I used to face this issue on my office laptop too, very annoying! Check the power settings properly. Sometimes it's a simple fix. High BP has made me more careful about reducing stress, so a smoothly running system without these small glitches really helps my peace of mind. Regular checkups for tech and health both are important, haan.
