How to increase skin elasticity during weight loss?

I've lost a significant amount of weight recently, which I'm happy about, but my skin on my arms and stomach feels a bit loose. Are there any ways to increase skin elasticity during weight loss to prevent sagging?

Honestly, weight loss shouldn't mean leaving all tasty stuff. I focus on eating a lot of citrus fruits and paneer to help with collagen, otherwise diet feels so boring! Just drink tons of water and enjoy your meals while shedding those kilos.

When I dropped 15 kgs last year, I was so worried about loose skin. I just made sure to lose weight very slowly instead of rushing it, and massaged my skin regularly with moisturiser. That really worked for me personally.

At 50, losing weight is easy but my skin decides to stay behind and sag! I am too tired for fancy ten-step routines, so I just put normal coconut oil daily after bath. It keeps things a bit firm and doesn't cost a bomb.

Does anyone else also feel like their skin looks way more loose on the arms after losing weight? I am really struggling with this right now and it makes me so self-conscious. Please tell me if this actually gets better with time or if I need to do something else.

Gentle daily stretching and yogasanas like Dhanurasana help improve blood circulation to the skin. In my years of practice, I have seen that a calm mind and slow, deep breathing also keep the skin healthy and glowing. Give your body some time to adapt naturally.

I completely understand how frustrating it is to work so hard on losing weight only to worry about loose skin. I used to cry looking at my stomach, but honestly, it gets better. Just keep your nutrition solid, moisturise daily, and give your body at least a year to adjust.

Losing weight is such a big win, so be proud of yourself first! 😊 Don't worry about the skin too much, just keep drinking water and maybe add some basic strength training. It takes time but our bodies are amazing at healing!

Listen, don't rush the process or stress yourself out over this. Your body has gone through a big change, so give it some grace and time. Keep eating clean, drink your water, and avoid those crazy fat burners that do more harm than good.

My daughter lost about 12 kgs last year and was very worried about stretch marks and loose skin. I made her eat almond oil with warm milk at night and told her to do simple dumbbells exercises. It took around six months but her skin look much more toned now.

Don't waste thousands of rupees on expensive clinic treatments or high-end firming creams. Just focus on a balanced diet with basic protein sources like kala chana and eggs. If you suspect any vitamin deficiencies, get a simple blood test done first before buying random supplements.

Beta, in our days we always trusted simple ghar ki cheezein like malai or aloe vera gel to keep the skin soft and tight. Massage your arms and legs gently twice a week before your warm water bath. Also, drink ample water and eat fresh seasonal fruits.

I get so anxious looking at my stomach skin after losing even 5 kgs, constantly checking the mirror. Please don't stress too much though, it takes some time for the body to shrink back. Just stay hydrated and maybe try some light weight training to fill out the loose areas.

No need to buy those expensive collagen powders and fancy serums, they are mostly marketing. Just eat enough dals, sprouts, and eggs for protein, and use a basic moisturizer or mustard oil. Keeping your protein intake high while losing weight naturally helps the skin.

Please make sure you are not following any crash diets that cause rapid weight loss, as that really ruins skin health. It is always better to consult a certified nutritionist or dermatologist first to plan this safely. Your skin reflects your inner health, so do it right.

If your doctor allows, you should definitely start some basic weight training or bodyweight exercises like squats and pushups. Walking is great for fat loss, but resistance training is what actually builds muscle under the skin to keep it looking tight. It makes a huge difference.
