Haan na, kidney care is so important and we ignore it till some issue happens. I have started drinking warm water in the morning and cut down on processed food. Actually, trying to avoid too much masala and high sodium nowadays, ho na.

Beta, the first rule is to drink sufficient water throughout the day, but don't overdo it. In our time, we used to drink fresh coconut water or barley water (jau ka paani) to flush out toxins naturally. Also, keep your salt intake very low, as high salt exerts pressure on the system.

Please don't take this lightly or rely only on home tips. I ignored slight back pain and swelling on my feet for months, thinking it was just heat. By the time I went to the doc, my kidney parameters were badly disturbed. Get a proper blood and urine test done first.

Very simple things work best for kidney health. Just reduce extra namkeen, papad, and pickles because they are loaded with sodium. Drink 2 to 3 litres of water daily, eat home-cooked food, and avoid taking self-prescribed medicines from the local chemist.

Instead of buying expensive wellness supplements for kidneys, just do a basic KFT (Kidney Function Test) once a year. It costs barely 400 to 600 rupees in local labs. Staying hydrated and avoiding unnecessary painkiller tablets will save you lakhs of rupees in hospital bills later.

I had severe fluid retention last year due to a sudden decline in my kidney function, and it was scary. Please do not try any random herbal powders or heavy decoctions without consulting an expert nephrologist. Regular checkups and proper medical guidance are the only safe way.

I tried everything from coriander water to pumpkin seeds for my frequent UTI and kidney health issues. Honestly, while light home remedies help in maintaining daily hydration, keeping your sugar and BP under control is the real game-changer. Eat simple food and balance your lifestyle.
