How to improve rem sleep?

I often feel very tired even after sleeping for 7-8 hours. My fitness tracker says my REM sleep is quite low. Is there anything I can do to improve it and feel more rested?

My sleep schedule was totally ruined because of late-night scrolling. I started putting my phone away an hour before sleeping and it actually made a huge difference in how deeply I sleep.

Cutting off caffeine after 3 PM helped me get much better REM cycles. I used to drink chai late in the evening and my sleep quality was absolute trash. Try avoiding heavy meals close to bedtime too.

If someone finds the secret to REM sleep, please let me know too. Currently, my brain thinks 3 AM is the perfect time to review all my life decisions instead of actually sleeping.

I can only share what worked for me personally, which was sleeping in a pitch-dark, slightly cool room. Keeping the room temperature low really helped me get more restful sleep cycles.

Instead of buying expensive smartwatches just to track sleep scores, I just focus on free, basic habits. Keeping my room completely dark using cheap thick curtains worked wonders for my sleep quality.

Bhai, simple rule rakho life me. Fix a proper time to sleep and wake up daily, even on Sundays. If you keep changing your timings, your brain will never get deep rest.

Don't blindly buy expensive sleep supplements or trust herbal remedies online to fix your sleep. If you are constantly waking up tired, get a professional sleep study done to rule out issues like apnea.
