As a teacher, I see many students struggling with stress and anxiety. I want to know what can be done at a systemic level to support them. How can we improve mental health in schools?

Totally agree. Having mandatory sports and art periods instead of continuous lectures is essential to give kids a mental break.

School stress can trigger severe panic attacks if neglected, which happened with my nephew. Please do not hesitate to consult a child psychologist if you see sudden behavioral changes or drop in grades. Catching it early prevents deeper issues.

We can help kids at home by giving them a calm, non-judgmental environment and feeding them fresh, balanced meals. But if a child is showing severe anxiety, refusal to go to school, or crying spells, please get them checked by a pediatrician immediately.

Schools should encourage outdoor play over screen-based learning tasks. There are many simple wellness apps that teach children 2-minute deep breathing exercises, which can easily be integrated into the morning assembly routine.

I was thinking about how schools can reduce exam fear. Do you think reducing homework or having weekly peer-sharing sessions in classrooms would make students feel safer and happier?
