How to improve asthma?

My son has asthma, and sometimes the attacks can be really scary. We use his inhaler, but I want to know if there's anything else we can do at home to help improve his condition generally, beyond just treating attacks.

Yaar, dealing with pollution and asthma is the worst. Actually, identifying your triggers like dust or strong sprays and keeping your inhaler handy makes a huge difference in daily life.

My pulmonologist explained that asthma is chronic airway inflammation, so controller inhalers are necessary even when you feel fine. They also advised tracking peak expiratory flow rates regularly to monitor lung capacity.

Managing both blood pressure and breathing issues taught me that lifestyle is everything. Avoid heavy outdoor cardio during high pollution days, keep your home dust-free, and go for regular doctor checkups.

Beta, try practicing deep breathing exercises like Pranayama in the fresh morning air. Having warm water with a little honey can also soothe the throat, but always keep your doctor's medicines close.

I have just been diagnosed with mild asthma and feel a bit overwhelmed. Is it safe to do light yoga exercises daily, or should I avoid any kind of physical exertion completely?
