How to identify lung cancer?

My uncle recently passed away from lung cancer, and it was caught quite late. It really makes me think about early detection. What are the key symptoms or warning signs one should be aware of to identify lung cancer, especially for non-smokers?

Look, don't waste time on Google. If you have a cough that won't go away for weeks, chest pain, or if you are coughing up even a little bit of blood, go to a chest specialist and get a chest X-ray done immediately. No home remedy is going to cure this.

Namaste. Please note that symptoms of lung issues include a persistent cough that worsens over time, shortness of breath, and sudden unexplained weight loss. It is always wise to consult a pulmonologist who will suggest a CT scan or other necessary tests.

I recently completed my treatment for early-stage lung cancer. My only major symptom was a dull, constant chest pain and a cough that didn't go away with regular antibiotics. Please go to a doctor and ask for a chest CT scan, early detection is everything.

My uncle had a persistent cough that we thought was just pollution allergy, but it turned out to be something serious. Along with the cough, if you feel weak or have chest pain while laughing or coughing, please do get it checked by a proper doctor soon.

Stop looking up symptoms on forums or trying ginger-honey remedies for a long-standing cough. Lung conditions cannot be diagnosed online. Go to a reputed hospital and get a proper CT scan and clinical evaluation done by an oncologist or pulmonologist.

I totally get it, just the thought of this can be extremely scary and stressful. Symptoms like a chronic cough, chest discomfort, or breathing difficulties shouldn't be ignored, but they can also be due to other minor issues. Please consult a doctor to get some clarity and peace of mind.

Yaar, trying to guess these things online is very stressful. Actually, key signs are a cough that lasts more than 3 weeks, hoarse voice, and feeling out of breath quickly. Just get a doctor's appointment and do an X-ray to be absolutely sure.
