How to identify a migraine headache?

I often get very bad headaches, sometimes with sensitivity to light and sound. My mother used to get migraines, and I'm wondering if mine are also migraines or just severe headaches. How can I really identify if it's a migraine headache?

I get so anxious whenever I feel a headache, constantly worrying if it's a migraine or something even worse. Usually, if it's on just one side of your head and feels like a throbbing, pulsing pain, it could be a migraine. Please track your symptoms carefully and see a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis so you don't keep stressing.

I was just reading an article about this yesterday because my roommate gets severe headaches. It said that if the pain is throbbing and gets worse with physical activity like walking or climbing stairs, it's highly likely to be a migraine. It's really interesting how different it is from a normal tension headache.

If even the sound of someone whispering feels like a DJ playing in your ears, congratulations, you might have a migraine! Jokes apart, the throbbing pain on one side is the biggest giveaway. Go hide under your blanket in a dark room until it decides to leave you alone!

Hey, don't stress too much about it! A classic migraine usually comes with being super sensitive to bright lights or loud noises, and sometimes makes you feel nauseous. Just lie down in a dark, quiet room with a cool cloth on your forehead for now and take it easy.

Agar sar ke ek taraf bohot tez dukhna, aur dhoop ya aawaz se pareshani ho, toh yeh migraine ho sakta hai. Isme kabhi-kabhi ulti jaisa bhi lagta hai. Aap thoda aaram kijiye, and dhoop me nikalte samay sar dhang se dhak kar rakhein.

Migraine is not just a regular headache; it is a neurological condition. If you experience aura, which is like seeing flashing lights or blind spots before the pain hits, that is a classic sign. Skip the self-diagnosis, keep a headache diary for a week, and present it to a neurologist for proper management.
