How to help toothache pain at home?

Suddenly got a sharp toothache this evening, and it's quite bothersome. I need some quick relief before I can see a dentist. What are some good home remedies to ease toothache pain?

Please don't make the mistake I made by ignoring a minor toothache with home remedies for weeks. It turned into a massive root infection and I had to spend a fortune on emergency treatment. Use a clove for now, but go see a dentist immediately.

I am having this dull ache in my upper jaw since yesterday. Is it safe to use garlic paste on the tooth, or will it cause damage to the gums? I am a bit scared to try anything strong.

Toothache makes it so difficult to eat anything, ho na. Try keeping a small piece of ginger near the aching tooth, it helps to numb the area slightly. But eventually, you have to visit the clinic, home remedies are only temporary.

At home, the safest thing is warm water with half a teaspoon of salt. Keep the warm water in your mouth near the aching tooth for a few seconds before spitting it out. It reduces the swelling, but please book a dentist appointment for a proper cure.

Hey! Dental pain is the absolute worst, but a quick saltwater rinse can help wash away the nasty bacteria. 🦷 Pressing a tiny clove gently against the tooth also works like magic for a bit. Stay strong! Sparkly smile will be back soon! ✨

For diabetic patients, any dental issue needs quick medical attention as high sugars can make dental infections worse. Do not use any sugary cough drops or sweet gels on your gums. Stick to plain warm water rinses and consult your dentist today.
