How to help throbbing tooth pain?

Been having this terrible throbbing pain in my tooth since morning, it's making it hard to concentrate at work. I tried a painkiller but it's not really easing the pulsing sensation. What can I do to get some relief?

I had this exact throbbing pain last year and it was unbearable. Press a clove or apply a tiny drop of clove oil on a cotton swab near the tooth for instant, temporary relief. But honestly, don't delay booking a dentist appointment because that throbbing usually means an active infection deep inside.

As someone managing diabetes, I have to be extremely careful with dental pain because gum infections can spike sugar levels quickly. Please don't suck on any sweet throat lozenges or cough drops for relief. Just do warm water rinses with salt and consult your dentist as soon as possible to check for infections.

Bhai, tooth pain can make anyone cry, it is very tough. Aap thoda gungune pani mein namak dalkar kulla karo, usse sujan thodi kam hogi. Aur raat ko thoda uncha takiya lagakar so jao taklif thodi kam hogi.

Is your pain also spreading to your ear and head? I am feeling a terrible throbbing tonight and it is making me so anxious that I can't sleep. Does clove oil actually work or will it burn my gums?

In our time, we used to press a piece of wet alum (phitkari) or place a fresh clove on the aching tooth. It helps to keep the mouth clean with warm saltwater gargles. However, if there is swelling on your cheek, do not wait and visit a proper clinic soon.

Honestly, trying to work with a throbbing toothache is impossible and waste of time. Don't drag it out with home remedies for days. Just take a half-day off, go to a dental clinic near your office, get the X-ray, and fix it once and for all.

I have thyroid issues and always notice that my dental health gets affected when my hormone levels are fluctuating. Make sure you don't ignore this pain, as dental infections can impact your overall body health. Get a dentist's opinion and keep your regular health checkups on track.

My dentist explained that throbbing pain happens when the pulp inside the tooth gets inflamed and pressure builds up. He told me never to apply heat to the cheek as it increases inflammation, always use a cold compress. I was advised to take a specific painkiller and get a digital X-ray done.

Beta, tooth pain is very painful, but please do not panic. For temporary relief, rinse your mouth gently with warm salt water three to four times. It washes away food particles and reduces swelling. But do make sure to see a dentist because home remedies only give short relief.

Hey, don't stress, dental pain is awful but it is totally treatable. Try not to chew anything from that side of your mouth at all today. Just stick to soft, cold foods like curd rice or custard, and make sure you see a dentist tomorrow morning, okay?

Throbbing pain means you probably need a root canal or have a deep cavity. Skip the random WhatsApp remedies and call a dentist immediately. For tonight, just do an ice pack on the cheek to keep the throbbing down.

Hey there! Please avoid placing any painkiller tablets directly against the aching tooth or gums because it causes chemical burns. Just keep the mouth clean with a medicated mouthwash or warm salt water. You will definitely need an antibiotic or dental treatment if the root is infected, so plan a visit soon.
