This is so terrifying to even think about, I always panic thinking what if I freeze in an emergency like this? Please, is the very first step always to call an ambulance? I feel like knowing the exact immediate emergency number is so critical for everyone.

Haan na, cardiac emergency is very serious, we cannot waste even one minute. Immediately call the nearest hospital's emergency line. Make the person sit comfortably on the floor so they don't fall, and loosen their tight clothes so they can breathe easily.

In a severe emergency like a heart attack, medical intervention is the only thing that matters, so call an ambulance instantly. For prevention, keeping your cardiovascular health strong with daily exercise and a clean diet is crucial. But in the moment, do not give them anything to eat or drink.

My father had a cardiac episode right in front of me, so I know how crucial those first few minutes are. Immediately call an ambulance, and if the patient is fully conscious, ask if they have been prescribed any emergency sorbitrate or aspirin. Do not let them walk or exert themselves at all.

If someone is showing symptoms like crushing chest pain or left arm pain, immediately contact an emergency medical service. Please do not offer them any water, warm tea, or home remedies, as it can cause choking if they lose consciousness. Keep them seated and completely calm.

I once ignored severe chest pain thinking it was just bad acidity, and it ended up being a mild heart attack that damaged my heart muscles. Please, if anyone complains of chest discomfort spreading to the jaw or arm, do not wait or give antacids. Take them to the nearest hospital emergency room immediately.
