Hey, don't worry too much. SI joint pain can be really uncomfortable, but it usually gets much better if you avoid sitting cross-legged and stop lifting heavy items. Try to lie down and rest for a bit when it flares up, and keep your movements very gentle.

I got bad hip pain after sitting on plastic chairs in college for six hours daily. Honestly, just doing basic hamstring stretches and walking around every hour helped clear it up. Try to avoid slouching at your desk, it really messes up your lower back.

Along with resting your hip, make sure you are eating anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric and ginger in your diet. Keeping your calcium and Vitamin D levels optimal is very important for bone and joint health. Avoid junk food which can increase overall body inflammation.

Honestly, dealing with SI joint pain was so mentally exhausting for me because simple things like standing up would hurt so much. It made me feel so helpless and frustrated every day. Just know that you are not alone, and taking it slow is absolutely okay.

SI joint dysfunction can easily be confused with lower back issues, so self-treating is not advisable. Getting an accurate diagnosis from an orthopedic specialist or physical therapist is the best course of action. They can prescribe specific core-stabilizing exercises that are safe for you.

I totally get it, SI joint pain is so annoying because it hurts even when you are just sitting or turning in bed. It really helps to place a pillow between your knees when you sleep on your side. Please don't push yourself through the pain, let your body rest.

Beta, for pain in the lower back and hips, applying a warm hot water bag carefully can relax the tight muscles around the joint. Avoid sitting on very low stools or the floor as it strains the hip area. If the pain is severe, consult a specialist rather than trying to massage it hard.

I have been dealing with SI joint stiffness along with high blood pressure, and my doctor suggested focused physiotherapy. Gentle stretching helps, but make sure to keep your doctor in the loop during your regular health checkups. Managing your weight also reduces the pressure on the lower joints.
