How to help liver disease?

My brother has been dealing with liver disease for a while now, and we're looking for additional ways to support his recovery and improve his quality of life. Are there specific foods or habits that can help someone with liver disease?

I was diagnosed with fatty liver grade 2 last year. The only thing that worked was losing 8 kgs weight through diet and light walking, and avoiding sugar. Get your LFT done regularly.

Liver disease can range from simple fatty liver to serious cirrhosis. Please get a proper diagnosis from a gastroenterologist before starting any home remedies or supplements.

I have been feeling very fatigued and having pain in the upper right side of my stomach. Did anyone else with liver issues face this? I am getting my tests done tomorrow.

Don't ignore elevated liver enzymes thinking it is just gas. Book an online appointment with a doctor, get your blood tests done on the weekend, and follow the treatment plan strictly.

I totally get it, finding out you have a liver condition is really scary. Take deep breaths, eat simple home-cooked food, and trust your doctor's treatment.

Drinking warm water with ginger and lemon can support your digestive system. But for any actual liver disease, proper medical drugs prescribed by a doctor are a must.

My uncle had this and it was very stressful for the family. We found that cooking food with very minimal oil and serving fresh fruits helped him recover his appetite.
