How to help lactose intolerance pain?

Whenever I consume dairy, I get terrible stomach cramps and bloating, which I think is lactose intolerance. The pain can be really bad sometimes. Are there any effective ways to help manage this discomfort?

I tried drinking minor amounts of milk hoping my body would get used to it, but the cramps were too bad. Drinking ginger water or mint tea helps soothe the bloating and stomach pain when you accidentally have dairy.

Hey, don't worry too much about it. Just start replacing dairy with almond or coconut milk, they are very easily available now and won't hurt your stomach.

Just cut out milk and paneer completely for two weeks and see. If you really want dairy, buy lactose-free milk or use lactase enzyme tablets before meals.

Lactose intolerance is very common, but self-diagnosing can sometimes make you miss other gut issues like IBS. It is best to consult a gastroenterologist for proper advice.

When I get bloated from accidental dairy, a slow 20-minute walk helps move the gas and reduces the stomach pressure significantly. Try to keep moving instead of lying down.
