How to help kidney stones pass faster?

My doctor confirmed I have kidney stones, and she said to drink lots of water. I really want these to pass quickly, the pain is too much. What else can I do to help them pass faster?

I got so scared when my brother had a stone, I kept checking his water intake every hour. Please make sure you are constantly sipping water, but watch out for any severe vomiting or fever.

My urologist at Apollo told me that stones larger than 6mm rarely pass on their own. Ask your doctor clearly if your stone size is small enough to pass naturally with hydration.

I have had three kidney stones in my life. Drinking barley water and walking regularly helped the small ones slip away easily. Don't lose hope, this phase will pass.

Some people will tell you to drink olive oil or lemon juice potions, but there is no scientific proof. Verify with a qualified doctor and stick to clean water.

I was crying with pain thinking my kidney was failing, but it was just a tiny 4mm stone. It passed safely within 10 days just with extra fluids and medicine. Keep calm, it's very manageable.

Dealing with the constant fear of when the next wave of pain will hit is mentally exhausting. It is okay to feel down; just rest and keep your fluids up as much as possible.
